I got things to install and they seem to be working
but... linux still identifies my drive with 16676,16,63
rather than the proper config of 16383,16,63

I've tried two things at the linux prompt with no
success:

        linux hd=16383,16,63
        linux hda=16363,16,63

I'm pretty confident that there's nothing wrong with
the drive. I have installed it on a windows machine
and have run scandisk, copied stuff to the entire
drive, etc. to verify that it's working properly. I'm
assuming that if I can just get linux to identify the
proper geomtry that I'll be fine.

Any ideas or recommendations of how I could
fix the problem?

-Ed
