For what it worth, I've been using 2.1.x series kernel on my production
machines for months now (mainly because of their much better SMP support
and
network throughput). I occassionally have had problems with some of
them, but
most have been rock solid (2.1.119, 2.1.123, and 2.1.126). In my
opinion,
2.1.x series has been ready to become 2.2.x for a while now. The only
thing
is that Linus has higher expectations than me :-)
cheers,
Hossein
