But he is NOT asking whether the CD is mounted or not. Maybe I
can expand a little bit here. When you burn a CD, you typically
have three choices: Disk-at-once, Close CD and leave open.
Only the last will let you later add more files to the CD. The
original question is, how to tell the state of the CD as either
open or closed.
