I'm not familiar with that particular adapter. Chances are that it will probably
work. Some of the AHA devices use the Future Domain controllers, so you
need to recompile the kernel with that driver. Others, such as the 2940, 2920C
use the AIC7xxx drivers.
I've got a 2920C, and I had to get a new AIC driver from ftp.dialnet.net in
order to get the thing to work.
