A little trick I use is to fire up gimp and:
1. Select File->Dialogs->Palette
2. In Palette box choose Named_Colors in drop down list of palettes (to
right of Ops)
3. This shows all named colors (duh) and clicking on one of the colors
causes name and RGB code to appear.
