If you are suggesting that RedHat purposely sabotage the FREE downloadable
version then
I would say you are completely out of line.
If you are suggesting that RedHat may put less effort into smoothing the
edges of something
that they give away as compared to something they charge money for, then
what of it?
It costs MONEY to do that smoothing process, someone (who has a family to
feed), sits down
and spends lots of time doing it. RedHat pays them to do it. The people who
put the money up
that RedHat uses to pay them, want a return on their investment too, or else
their money will
go elsewhere and no more RedHat.
Linux is free, RedHat contribute to this free software and the total package
is available free.
You want the 'value added' stuff as well (the smoothing of the edges stuff,
the pretties,
the slick installation etc), then I am afraid you will have to pay for them.

Greg
