Either 1:  you haven't  actually tried  it, 2:  you've  gotten your (mis)
information from a source who  falls under one of these categories, or 3:
you previously worked with one of their coding teams in an effort to port
it  to  a  different  OS, and  were subsequently  cut-off for  failure of 
progress (reported by slashdot.org). Reason 3 would explain your apparent
grudge against Opera.

Many  technology and  media organizations  have reported  on the speed of
Opera compared to the other browsers.  C|Net, who BTW gave them the 'Best
Internet Software' award, calls Opera "blindingly fast, and  a refreshing
alternative" -- an URL for their article appears below.

Regarding your claims of it being "buggy," don't use a beta release.
