I just downloaded the whole tar ball, and the README states *explicitly*
that one *must* have glibc 2.0.7. Pity, that... (I'm still on RHL 4.2 ;-) ).
Ah well, I had to have an extra set of libc5 around for SO 3.1, now I'll try
the same trick with SO 5.0 / glibc...
