Hello,

I recently install a Red Hat 4.1 OS. The problem is that I?m trying very hard
to make a connection with my ISP but I have no result. My modem is working fine.
I checked it using Minicom and I can connect to my ISP until the step of giving
Username and Password. After the acceptance of those data and the appearance of
the garbages the line falls.

I use the Network configuration tool from the Control Panel of the X-windows. I
know the telephone number of my ISP, the DNS, (login and password of course). I
don?t know what numbers to write in the Network numbers and Mask?s fields. I?m
not sure if this step is necessary.

I check out the "chat-ppp0" file and I didn?t see something wrong.

Can anyone give me a hint or send me his/her chat file?

Thank you.
Yannis.
