2.0.36 was released as a beta.
2.2.0 has never been released. Red Hats site says that 5.2 is 2.2.0 ready (which is bullshit since when 2.2.0 comes out you will have to update half the packages) not that it includes it.
They also say that it includes the long awaited gimp-1.0. Bullshit 1.0 has been out for a while and you could get it anytime from gimp.org. Better yet get the cvs and gtk+-1.1.2-1.
the latest dvelopment version is 2.1.126 with a pre .127 patch aviable.
I really dont see a reason to upgrade. I am running on 5.1 but with so many updates (including kernel 2.1.126 and gtk+-1.1.2-1). Red Hat will have to come with 5.5 before it can really be a upgrade to my sys (provided that I leave it as it is).
The only thing that I dont have is Red-Hats new installation utility (complete with back buttons and server or workstation options) but since I have installed the sys already what use do I have for it anyway.
