Here's the kicker...
Now that you have ppp working, download the diald-xxxx.rpm's from the
contrib area at Redhat.
Then do a "rpm -ivh diald-xxxxx.rpm"
Go into the GUI control panel and get into the runlevel editor.
Add diald to runlevel 3 (or 4? if you boot directly to X... ).
Then make sure that ppp is NOT set to start up automatically at boot.
Restart your machine (yeah I know you guys... quit giving me a hard
time...)...
Now you have "instant" dial on demand...
Throw ip_masq into the fray (if you have a local network) and ALL of your
machines are on the internet!
IP masq is also very easy to set up...
