Blair:

Blaming the glibc version is supported by my own observations: RA Player
fails to start when lanched from Red Hat's "Official" Navigator 4.06, but
when I install "modified" 4.06 & 4.07 Tar Balls (direct from Netscape)
with a "patched" version of netscape-wrapper-bnl it works correctly.

Further support: on Netscape's own FTP Site the glibc version is found
within the "development" tree as opposed to the "shipping" tree. HINT!
HINT!
