Hi gang
I have a new system with RHL v5.0 with a local printer defined - text only.
When sending a plain text file (such as test page from print tool) to
this printer I get one line printed that says:
No way to print this type of input file: ASCII text
A remote printer is also defined and works ok.
I have not been able to locate anything unusual. A verify of
the printfilters package reports no problem. The printer
definition was deleted and recreated but this did not help.
The printer was initially defined at install time and redefined
using the print tool, no manual editting of /etc/printcap.
Any suggestions?
thanks in advance--
paul
