Anyone know of anyone with plans for software that'll put songs on a
Diamond (www.diamondmm.com) Rio player? Their specs say Windows is needed,
but I emailed Diamond explaining why they should write Linux software. Just
wondering if any groups already started a project to write software for this.

For those that haven't heard the Diamond Rio has 32mb of ram and lets you
play MP3 music (www.mp3.org). There's also a 16mb upgrade for it. Songs are
usually like 4mb or less. If you degrade the quality you can cram more
music on there, but I'm sure they will come out with a larger ram upgrade
for it in no time.
