Hum... nothing automatic (meaning, to quickly restore the image to a
clean system) comes to mind (unless you wanna write something for say...
sparq drives) :-).  Otherwise, making an image is easy; dd, tar or my
favourite cpio... along with (probably) a dozen commercial packages.
