I swear I'm not trying to be a wise ass but you really should get a good
feel for vi. I've never used emacs so I really can't say how great and
easy it is but vi is almost always available and works fine for any kind of
text editing. You don't need to replace emacs with it but get used to the
features....it's alot more powerful than you think and it's handy to know.
