Rpm and naming convention

Think about what you're trying to do.  If you're querying for an installed
application package, you're not querying for application.rpm.  You're
querying for just "application".  If you're installing something, you're
installing from an rpm, hence you need the whole name.

Think about it this way - say you've got MSOffice.zip (I know - burn me at
the stake later). You unzip the file and install it.  Now, if you were to
use find and see if MSOffice were installed, you certainly wouldn't search
for MSOffice.zip would you?
