Hi all,
I've been trying to get this PCMCIA card to work on my Thinkpad 770
(p55c-233 version) for ages. Basically, I haven't been able to get it to
work, but my ethernet card, which is a PCMCIA modem/ethernet combo card
works just fine. I can't seem to get the computer to use it. At bootup it
notices the card and gives me a message about delaying initialization, and
thats it. If I try to load the module (ibmtr_.o, I believe, and ibmtr.o
doesn't work), it doesn't appear to do anything.
Any pointers or ideas? I've checked the mini howto on token-ring and the
PCMCIA info to no avail. I'm using RH5.1 w/no errata and kernel 2.0.34.
I'd put a newer kernel and other things on there, but I can't get to the
internet to get them.
Thanks,
Chris
