The one from Red Hat's Contrib area is better. It works immediately after an
install and REBOOT, IF you already have a properly functioning ppp link
which was created via the GUI tools.

In this case getting diald to work involves nothing more than

rpm -ivh diald-xxxxxx.rpm

Activating it for RUNLEVEL 3 in the runlevel editor, then rebooting...

VERY simple
