I've been using Red Hat 5.1 for about two months now, and recently
started using AfterStep--at least the version that ships on the Red Hat
cd. After trying to configure my desktop without much luck, I visited
the After Step home page and learned that the version of After Step that
Red Hat ships is not really After Step at all, but fvwm that has been
customized to look like After Step. Is that true? If it is, then why did
Red Hat do that? It's very confusing. Also, can anyone point me to rpm's
of the real i386 After Step binaries that are known to work on Red Hat
5.1?

Thanks,

Jim
