Greetings,

	I used to make the air on a nuclear submarine - way back when.
While I have forgotten all the technical details, simply, some electronic
equipment does much the same thing that electrostatic filters do - ionize
the air immediately around them. This causes the air to let go of the dust
and impurities.

	We're talking basic "smoke eater" kind of stuff here.

	Sorry, but I've forgotten all the gory details. Too bad you didn't
ask about the "dew point", last time someone did they got mad and left
after the 12th hour of my explination...
