Use the GUI tools to set up PPP and PAP authentication...
In the "expect" & "send" columns delete anything you see.
Under "PPP options" add in
"defaultroute noipdefault name xxxx"
Where xxxx is the login name you would use to log into the ISP (no quotes).
Finally in the PAP screen add your username again and for the password use
the password given to you by the ISP...
That's about it!
