No, it shouldn't matter, the Linux setup will should let you use Disk Druid
or fdisk, and you can setup whatever partitions you want.

Does it matter that the drive that I am installing on is 800 MB and not
partitioned for anything?  I plan on using the full 800 MB for Linux...
Wasn't planning on partitioning it other than defining the "map" locations
for Linux (i.e. root is swap, user, home and /usr/local.
