FYI... I played with Xconfigurator some more and I have something really
strange.  It's like I have a 640x460 "opening" overlaid on an 800x600
screen.  I have to mouse over to see what else is on the screen.

Also I finally get a nicer login screen.  Before it was just gray with the
X Windows login window.  Now I see "Red Hat Linux" and the penguin.
