I am a new Linux user, trying to set up my machine for the first time. I have
read the RedHat FAQs and searched every Web site and news group I could
find, including http://www.xfree86.org, but have been unable to solve this.
I am running RH 5.0. I have an ATI 3D Rage Pro AGP 2X (DirectX) video
card and a MAG Innovision DX17F monitor. Neither of those appear as a
direct option under Xconfigurator. When I run startx, I get four narrow windows,
the right three being mirrors of the leftmost, which actually works. The problem
is that each is so narrow, including the live window, I cannot read what is
happening there. I tried #'ing out the Virtual settings in the X86Config file, but to
no avail.
Can anyone help or point me to where I might find a FAQ or answer? Thanks!
