Hey all,
I have this rh4.2 box, I have tried several versions of 5.0 and 5.1 for an
upgrade, no luck. I have narrowed it down to the following problem:
16:51:17 wally /mnt/hal2/redhat4.2/RedHat/RPMS#rpm -ih
groff-1.10-8.i386.rpm -vvD: counting packages to install
D: found 1 packages

D: New Header signature
D: Signature size: 236
D: Signature pad : 4
D: sigsize : 240
D: Header + Archive: 809841
D: expected size : 809841

D: opening database mode: 0102
D: opening database in //var/lib/rpm/
D: dependencies: looking for libm.so.5
D: dependencies: looking for libc.so.5
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Any ideas on why rpm is seq faulting on this package?
Thanks,
