Delete entries from RPM database?

Hello,
I have some packages stuck in the RPM database, even though they aren't
physically installed. I tried rpm --rebuilddb, rpm --justdb, but nothing
works. They are still stuck there. How can I manually remove them? (It
sounds like the Add/Remove programs feature of Micros**t)
