Actually, in bios the setting for PnP is set to "OS".  I 
would assume that with this setting, linux would not care
since it isn't PnP and the bios isn't handling it...
And, of course, I do have a multi-boot system with a 
couple of PnP oses on it (Win98 and OS/2) so it would be
nice to enable PnP to SOME extent.
