Sounds like you are using shadow passwords on Red Hat which of course uses
the PAM libraries not the shadow libraries.

You need a TACACS+ package that supports PAM. There doesn't seem to be
one.

Yeah, me too. :-( I guess we're screwed though, unless Vikas updates his
package (unlikely ... when I sent him e-mail he said something to the
effect of "sigh...yet *another* security protocol") or somebody else does.
