Hi,

When I install RedHat 5.1-intel on a clean machine everything works fine.
When I download all .rpm files from the errata list and install them and
than restart the machine my NE2000 ethernet card doesn't work anymore.
RedHat doesn't see it anymore at boottime.

I think it has something to do with the errata packages.

When I follow up the instructions on the errata page by the package:
kernel, iBCS, pcmcia I found problems.

	mkinitrd /boot/initrd-2.0.35-2.img 2.0.35-2

RH response:

mount: the kernel does not recognize /dev/loop0 as a block
	       device (maybe 'insmod driver'?)
	Can't get a loopback device

What's wrong? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ivo
