Last night I reinstalled Linux 5.1 with almost all the components including
the source code
so I could recompile the kernal. After installation I Looked around and
did not find any of the
source for the kernal. I then downloaded a copy of the source tree and
installed it. No problem.
The name of the file downloaded was: linux-2.0.34.tar.gz

The problem is that I cannot find any of the make files that are required.
Even the ones mentioned in the documentation in with the source code. I
used a find command to search all the file systems and found nothing.

What's going on?

I think that after I installed the files, the make files where found but
then dissappeared after
rebooting for a problem.

HELP

Thanks in advance.
