don't stop with just the kernel.. get all the kernel* upgrade rpm's.. like
the kernel itself, ibcs, source, headers.. and the configgy thingy or
something.. cause if you f things up.. and need to recomp... you'll need
some good code.. also.. try using glint to remove the old kernel stuff
first.. (base/kernel; i think it is)
