I'm ready to buy a new computer, and I want the next one to be Linux only.
I've sent mail with specs to a number of the Intel/Linux vendors from the
Linux Journal, but I haven't heard anything back from them via email.
I guess the thing to do would be to call them and get quotes. Before I do,
though, I wanted to check the list to see if anyone had any experience with
these companies. I'm interested in both their support and quality and also if
they tend to prefer larger systems or multiple system orders.
If anyone has any experience with any of these companies, please let me know
either on the list or by email.
The one's I'm looking at are:
VA Research
ASL Workstations
Linux Hardware Solutions
Telenet System Solutions
Hi-Tech USA
Thanks for any and all information.

No, my friend, the way to have good and safe government, is not to trust it
all to one, but to divide it among the many, distributing to every one exactly
the functions he is competent to. It is by dividing and subdividing these
republics from the national one down through all its subordinations, until it
ends in the administration of every man's farm by himself; by placing under
every one what his own eye may superintend, that all will be done for the
best.
