I've been looking at a Cobalt Qube as a small-time network server.
For those who haven't seen it it's a 7inch cobalt coloured cube which
contains a MIPS Linux system based on RedHat. It is preconfigured with
Apache, DNS, Samba, AppleTalk, (DHCP I think), POP3 and SMTP. Its only
interface is a network port and all admin is performed via a web browser.
The price is ?795 to ?995 depending on spec.
Has anyone any real comments to make on this box other than the sales lit?
I
think it would be ideal for a client of ours (possibly more than one if I
can persuade them it's a zillion times cooler than NT).

RedHat Linux - It does exactly what it says on the box
