Subject: boot question
I use LILO to load Linux on my system. To get me cdrom to work I currently
have to specify:
linux hdh=cdrom
Is there someway I can put the "hdh=cdrom" into a config file to eliminate
my having to type it each time?
Thanks in advance.

I believe if you add this line to /etc/lilo.conf,
in the section that describes the image
you are booting, it'll work.
[eric@delbert /etc]$ more lilo.conf
boot=/dev/sda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
prompt
timeout=50
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.0.34-0.6
label=linux
root=/dev/sda1
initrd=/boot/initrd-2.0.34-0.6.img
read-only // <--
stick-it-here
