The installer is (on the CD) misc/src/install/install (and install2)
You cannot run these programs on a live system.  You could, however
boot the floppies once again, and choose the "upgrade" option.
Not too practical, but it'd work.

Odd...I mount NT shares often and always have the LFNs, does NT's 
explorer show the LFNs? It shouldn't matter if it's a CD or HD.
