Disclaimer: there might be a MUCH better solution to this so I wouldn't
rush right out and do this until a few other ideas are thrown out.

I'd try an rpm -e on netscape-common first, then make sure I got rid of
everything I could locate concerning both navigator and communicator and
finally try 'rpm -U <filename> --force' to get the new one to install.

May not help but, try doing 'rpm --rebuilddb' afterward to hopefully
clean up the database so no future problems arise.
