Don't know about upgrade, but the install via ftp was quite easy here. I
made both boot and supplement disks (you'll get the images at a RedHat
mirror of your choice, then the process should be the same as for 4.x/5.0),
booted from them, chose FTP install, answered a few questions about my
network connection (gateway, name server, IP, etc.pp.), and of we went. Got
a few error messages in between and it stalled a few times, but it worked.
I'd suspect that an upgrade would work the same way.
