	Hey,

first of all, you shouldn't use linux's fdisk to fix problems on system 
partitions of other OS's.

	What I would do if I where you, is that I would use dos's fdisk to redo 
my other partitions, and would reformat them. Also, I had the HELL of a 
bad time with maxtor drives (I have a 6.4G to). I think they are highly 
unstable (I have a Quantum 3.2 that never crashed, and bought a new 
maxtor. I had to change the maxtor drive 3 times in two months, and the 
maxtor distributor who solde me the drive has no idea why, he even broke 
one in front of me while trying to replace o broken one).
