Hi All,
This is probably mixed with previous questions, however,
At my site, I need to :
1) Provide Internet Access/Internet Email to staff
Running Squid proxy of 1/2 Gig to increase performance.
2) Host a Web Site - and soon two of them
We can happily host one site on Linux, however the other
may have to be NT IIS depending on the e-commerce solution.
3) Allow staff to dial in remotely to access NT LAN and retrieve email
Please tell me if this isn't possible.
Dial In To ISP @ aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd

My PPP Internet Gateway with Real IP Address on ppp0
with Internal Network IP on eth0

Firewall Machine with Internal Net IP on Eth0 & Eth1

Office LAN
My Questions :
Where is the best location to run Sendmail and Squid to service our office
so that people can still retrieve their email from elsewhere on the
internet, and still be secure ?
How and where do I have the company web site on an NT machine ? (Does it
have to be outside the firewall ?)
Thanks for any help,
Greg.
