If Sendmail hangs trying to resolve the hostname via DNS...
You probably do not have DNS working or your connection to another DNS
running (even though you might think you do...)
Try using nslookup and pointing it to BOTH your localhost ip (127.0.0.1) and
your ethernet card's IP and seeing if it will resolve host name lookups at
both of these IPs...
No there is nothing "special" about setting up Linux on a Netware Network...
it's just like setting up another workstation EXCEPT for DNS... (which
sendmail requires)
