You've either recently updated GIMP or your Gtk/GTK+ libraries, as a result
some of the routines used by the version of Gimp you are using are either
missing, renamed, or not needed anymore...

You'll need to update GIMP, GTK(+), and a few related libs...

Get the RPM's from RAWHIDE and install them (NOT update) using "rpm -ivh
gtk+xxxxx.rpm"

This should preserve your existing libs as well preventing older
applications from "breaking"...

This is a perennial problem with gtk, as each programmer seems to use a
different revision... and the "updates" tend to remove existing libraries
and links...
