I need some references to resources which will teach me how to set up
remote printing with RH 5.1.

The system has two printers connected to the server: a laserjet on the
first printer port (lp/lp0, I assume) and a color inkjet on the second
printer port (lp1, I assume). Right now, I'm more concerned about
applications printing to the laser printer. Particularly WordPerfect 7.

I can send output from the server to the printer and it comes out right
away. However, from the networked workstation, a test page from the RH
printtool (in X) either disappears into the queue on the server (and I don't
know how to flush it to the printer instantly when the printer's not busy),
or the attempt to send a ASCII test page fails using either lp or lp0.

We really need to access the printer from both machines. Where do I read
more about this? The NAG doesn't have anything useful, the O'Reilly "TCP/IP
Network" book hasn't much, and the RH 5.1 installation guide doesn't discuss
setting up network printers and getting them working.

TIA,

Rich
