My experience is that the userdel -r USERNAME does a nice job, takes care
of user entry in passwd, shadow, and rm's the user dir and=
contents.....but...
Dont forget groupdel, or you may end up with an interesting group
situation. :) Other things such as the mail file, crontabs, etc have to
be handled manually.
