This IS a hardware problem. The kernel should never give a segmentation
error...

Try running it a few days. I'll find out that even Windows gives a blue

Try setting the BIOS to default settings, and tweak a bit wth memory
settings. I once had the same problem..

There is a program at sunsite, and I believe it is called memtest.
