hey all,
i have been trying to get my ensoniq soundscape card working
to no avail...
would someone explain what's wrong?
this are the msgs i get....
when i run sndconfig :
"error occured with modprobe"
when i cat /dev/sndstat:
Sound Driver:3.5.4-960630
Kernel: Linux blakbox.com 2.0.32 #1 Wed Nov 19 00:46:45 EST 1997 i586
Config options: 0

Card config:
Audio devices:
Synth devices:
Midi devices:
Timers:
0: System clock
Mixers:
....it shows the kernel as 2.0.32 but i just updated
my kernel to 2.0.35 and tweaked my lilo.conf to reflect
that.
during boot-up, it says
sb: dsp reset failed....
