Some time ago I communicated with someone on this list who was using @home.

It turned out they had a COM21 modem (which I do).

There was no problem getting it working under Linux. He did have to install
a dhcp client on the Linux machine sine @home (at least for him) was using
dhcp to allocate IPs...

Then diald was added and he now has a home lan connected via a single cable
modem using ip_masq... as I do...
