I built a small script, which does exactly that, but it sends all the ping
processes to the background (ping .... &). Then the output comes nicely
formatted with the successes near the top, and the failures near the
bottom.
I can post code, if you really want it, or it can be left as a (simple)
excercise for the user. :)
