Hi,

I have a logitech mouse (2-button) connected to COM1. I linked /dev/mouse
to /dev/cua0....

Anyway I am having some really strange trouble with it, when Linux starts
(runlevel3), gpm (invoked with no parameters), didn't detect the mouse and
I do not have the mouse.... However, if I stop gpm, and start it again,
gpm starts (after a prolonged pause), but gives me the following Warning:

"Bad magic number for tty struct (05:40) in release dev"

but then gpm runs properly and now I have access to my mouse....
Can anyone tell me why this is happening? I guess I can always just go
through this, but I wanted to boot into run level 5, and if I don't have
access to my mouse, xfree86 (in this case) just hangs and I will have to
reset my computer.... Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ken
