Pinging the ip address doesn't prove reverse lookup works. Try running
nslookup and seeing if it can find 193.50.229.246. . .if it can't you're
reverse lookup is not working right.
Your in-addr.arpa file looks right...what does the line in the named.boot file
look like the tells named to read the in-addr.arpa file?
